For Provamel, sustainability and respect for the natural and human resources are household values.
Provamel sources its beans directly from non-GMO farms – an essential trait of organic farling – in Brazil, China and Canada where they have already been cultivated for many years and where crop rotation is practised in accordance with the organic farming methods. This is a systemwhereby the crop is grown on a different plot of land every year to avoid impoverishing the soil.
No farm is located on agricultural land which has been developed or deforested. This is based on our clear and deliberate principle that we do not purchase any products from rainforest regions. Respect for the environment and a sense of responsibility for the resources of our earth are the driving force behind our production process and the choice for the organic production method.
