In the long run, we believe the natural way is the best way, for the people and for the planet. Provamel decided right at the outset to offer organic products complying with all applicable legislation on organic farming (Regulation 2092/91/EEC) and free from genetic modification. That is why we have implemented a traceability system that is controlled by third independent parties.
- the seed is checked for GMOs before it is sown
- we only work with transporters who can give us assurances that there will be no GMO contamination or contamination with conventional (non organic) beans during transportation
- the processing, bottling and packaging of our end products takes place in a certified safe working environment in compliance with the organic production method
- when the products leave our factory, they receive an individual number which we can easily trace once they have passed to our distributors
