Apart from looking good, the Provamel packaging is a positive move toward making our world a better place to live. Why? Well, on a step by step basis our packs are helping to reduce our carbon footprint. In other words, they can reduce our emission of greenhouse gases - these are the gases that cause global warming.

Forest Management
We believe in replacing what we remove. That’s why the wood fibres that go into the Provamel Tetra Paks come from managed forests. In these forests, new trees are planted to replace the ones that are cut down. This way, the natural balance of nature isn’t disturbed.
Less plastic, more recyclable materials
- Tetra Paks
This form of packaging has the lowest carbon footprint of any rigid beverage pack. Tetra Paks are made from environmentally friendly materials with no harmful substances being used during the production process. Furthermore, the Tetra Pak you throw away can be completely recycled. - Environmentally friendly plastic
Is there such a thing?
Well, we’re doing everything we can to make it happen. - We’ve added a recyclable wrap-around label to our 500g Yofu pot, which means the pot itself, is now made with less plastic.
- All our 4 pack Yofu’s and Desserts also have a 100% recyclable wrap-around label. This means we use less plastic and the little we do use can be recycled easier because all the materials can be separated.

Fewer trucks on our roads
We are helping to keep the trucks on our road down to a minimum. How? The Tetra packaging material we use on our products is delivered in reels that can then be made into cartons and filled with our Soya Drinks. That means just one truck can carry enough packaging for nearly one million, 1-litre cartons! It would take over fifty trucks to deliver one million glass bottles! This way Provamel keeps approximately 1250 trucks off the road every year!
