Granola with chickpeas

  • 400 gr chickpeas from a glass can + liquid
  • 2 tbsp melted coconut oil
  • 200 gr mixed nuts
  • 200 gr pumpkin seeds
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch sea salt
  • To serve: Provamel mono pbay Almond and Mango Pbay

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Drain (make sure you keep the liquid aside) the chickpeas and rinse. Spread the chickpeas out on a paper towel. Pat dry with another towel until very dry.
  2. Place the chickpeas on a parchment lined baking tray. Mix in half of the coconut oil and bake for 30 minutes.
  3. In the meanwhile, start by making the chickpea liquid fluffy by using an electric hand mixer. Mix until stiff peaks form.
  4. Remove the tray with chickpeas from the oven. Lower the heat to 160°C. Add the remaining melted coconut oil, maple syrup, nuts, cinnamon, pinch salt, pumpkin seeds and 6 tbsp fluffy white to the chickpeas and stir well to combine. Spread back out on the baking sheet. Bake again for 10 minutes.
  5. Turn off the oven and leave the granola inside, with the door cracked to cool. This helps the granola get crispy. Enjoy with Provamel Mono Almond and mango Pbay.


Clean out the glass can from the chickpeas and fill it with the granola. Enjoy later
