Oat porridge

  • 75 g oat flakes
  • 400 ml Provamel Oat Drink
  • 50 g walnuts
  • ½ tsp. vanilla powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pear
  • 2 tsp. soya margarine

  1. Coarsely chop the walnuts.
  2. Toast the oats in a skillet over medium heat for about two minutes while stirring.
  3. Add the Oat Drink, the vanilla powder and half of the walnuts, bring to a boil while stirring and simmer for five minutes.
  4. Add a pinch of salt.
  5. Cut the pear into quarters, remove the seeds and cut lengthwise into slices.
  6. In a pan heat a bit of soya margarine and fry the pear slices on both sides.
  7. Before serving, lay the pears over top the porridge and garnish with the remaining walnuts.
