Vanilla flavoured flat white

  • 1 vanilla bean
  • 300 ml Provamel Barista Almond
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 4 shots espresso (or more depending on how strong you want your coffee)
  • 1 tbsp almond flakes

  1. Split the vanilla bean down its length using a small knife. Scrape out the seeds.
  2. In a small saucepan set over medium-low heat, whisk together Barista Almond with the seeds and vanilla essence and let it simmer.
  3. In the meanwhile, place a sauté pan on the stove over medium heat. Pour the almonds in the preheated pan and keep stirring until the edges start to get brown. Remove from the pan.
  4. When the Barista Almond is heated through, use a milk frother to create a nice foam.
  5. Divide espresso shots in mugs and pour the frothed Barista Almond on top. Finish with the roasted almond flakes.
